Named after the Three Sisters mountain range, the town of Sisters is known as the Gateway to the Cascades. Known for its charming village setting and western themed downtown with unique shops, galleries and restaurants, Sisters is a vibrant community with a center for arts and culture, and known for its annual events such as, the Sisters Rodeo (the “Biggest Little Show in the World”), the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, and the Sisters Folk Festival.
Nearby trails, lakes, mountains, and rivers make Sisters a paradise for hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, skiing, and horseback riding. About a half-hour drive down Highway 20 separates residents from the larger city of Bend, a commute many residents find worth living in the spacious, peaceful community.
