Community NeighborImpact Food Drive 2020 – Central Oregon

Heating Things Up With Community Support

Right about now, our team should be firing up their crockpots and preparing sensational culinary delights in the hopes of winning prizes and bragging rights at our 7th Annual FRED Team Chili Showdown and food drive, however, COVID-19 had other plans so we’ve unfortunately had to put our event on-hold for 2020.

So, while we aren’t able to come together in-person this year, we can still come together and support our community! With so many families in need right now, we hope you’ll join our NeighborImpact food drive for distribution to those in need around Central Oregon.  Details below.

FRED + NeighborImpact food drive 2020 details

  • Canned fruit
  • Canned vegetables

Where to donate:

Please bring your donations to the FRED office lobby and place in the designated blue bin. Here’s how to find us: Fred Real Estate Group: 70 Century Drive, Suite 110, Bend, OR 97702

** Please wear a mask upon entering our office space, in alignment with current COVID-19 measures **

When to donate:

We will be accepting food donations at the office from September 21st to October 5th. Thank you in advance for your generosity, donations, and community spirit!

Unable to donate a food item? Here’s how to make a financial donation directly to NeighborImpact

At times like these, NeighborImpact works harder than usual to fill critical gaps. In an average year, they provide about 360,000 individual services – food, a rent check, a paid energy bill, insulation in an attic, help buying that first home, preschool for the child of a budding (but still struggling) entrepreneur, bill payment for a senior in the early stages of Alzheimer’s.  The list goes on.

About two-thirds of their assistance comes from federal and state sources.  For the rest, they depend on the community.  Financial help, especially in a time of crisis, allows NeighborImpact to make things right again for people whose daily lives have gone very wrong, very quickly.  With your support, we will create a community where all residents have hope, optimism, and access to community resources that see them through times of need.
